Armando “Mandy” Dorta, APRN, FNP-C

Armando “Mandy” Dorta, APRN, joined Specialty Gastro Center in November 2025. He brings extensive clinical experience and a strong commitment to providing compassionate, patient centered care.

Mandy began his healthcare career by earning an Associate Degree in Nursing through the Jackson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and Miami Dade College. He later completed his Bachelor of Science from the University of Phoenix in 2008.

Throughout his nursing career, Mandy has served patients in Broward county across various settings, including critical care, medical surgical units as well as Specialized Cardiology departments. His diverse clinical background has provided him with a broad foundation in the management of complex medical conditions and acute patient care.

Mandy has earned his Master’s in Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Keiser University in 2021. Prior to joining SGC he practiced in cardiology, where he refined his skills as an advanced practice provider caring for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Mandy is dedicated in partnering with patients to provide and promote health, improve quality of life, and provide the highest quality of care.
